WE ARE A CHURCH
Freedom Worship Center started as a little house church by a few immigrant families from the Philippines in the
1960’s. That Filipino group thrived until the early 1990’s. By August
1997, God had called us to re-launch as Freedom Worship Center, a multicultural,
Spirit-filled Church meeting the needs of the whole family in the inner city
and internationally.
Today, Freedom Worship Center has grown to include a weekly TV ministry broadcast throughout northern California,
yearly missions trips to Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa, 10 satellite churches in the Philippines and
10 in Peru and Columbia, and affiliate ministries worldwide.
Freedom is also involved in the urban arts with Elements, a
benefit fashion show, and original theater musicals like the hip hop remake of Jesus Christ Superstar.
