Our Story
Freedom Worship Center started as a little house church by a few immigrant families from the Philippines in the 1960’s. That Filipino group thrived until the early 1990’s. By August 1997, God had called us to re-launch as Freedom Worship Center, a multicultural, Spirit-filled Church meeting the needs of the whole family in the inner city and internationally.
Today, Freedom Worship Center has grown to include a weekly TV ministry broadcast throughout northern California, a youth center, yearly missions trips to Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa, 9 satellite churches in the Philippines, 9 in Peru, Ecuador and Columbia, 1 in Nigeria and affiliate ministries worldwide.
Freedom is also involved in the urban arts from original worship music to hip hop dance to Elements, a benefit fashion show, and original theater musicals like the hip hop remake of broadway's Jesus Christ Superstar.
Our Future
Freedom is working toward the dream of making a lasting difference in our families, neighborhoods, city, society and nations with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ and His great love.
